Connection issues with the Profit platform (Nelogica)
If your VPS can access the internet normally but the Profit platform cannot connect, the most common reason is that the server IP has been listed on a blacklist used by Nelogica to filter suspicious connections.
How to check if your IP is listed
- Go to: https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
- Replace “XXX” with your VPS IP address (you can find it in your client area).
- If it appears listed with recent records, it means the IP was blocked for security reasons due to suspicious activity (usually brute-force attacks caused by malware infection).
Most common causes
- Port 3389 (RDP) open to the internet without a firewall.
- Missing antivirus or outdated operating system.
- Malicious software performing automated attacks.
These factors can make your server be used by bots to perform attacks, which leads to automatic blacklist listings. For security reasons, Nelogica blocks these IPs to protect its infrastructure.
How to fix
- Reinstall your VPS.
- After reinstalling, do not keep port 3389 open publicly.
Your server will be delivered with a custom RDP port. Keep it as is or change it to a different one from 3389. - Once reinstalled, request blacklist removal (our team can assist with this).
- After that, Profit should connect normally again.
Tips to avoid future blocks
- Keep your firewall active and updated.
- Avoid leaving unnecessary ports open.
- Never use port 3389. If it stays open, your server will eventually be compromised.
- Make regular backups of your files.
Following these steps will keep your server stable and prevent your IP from being blocked again by Nelogica.
